It basically refers to mounting temporary camps in the nature’s lap and enjoy a day or two’s life in the natural surroundings with limited resources. Mukteshwar is a camping site situated at a distance of 50 kms from Nainital. The major attaractions while camping here include rock climbing and rappelling, river Crossing trekking and hiking to Shitla village, stream(waterfall) trek, sunrise and sunset trek, beautiful CPRI meadows, visit to the nearby Gahana village, night trek, bird spotting, kite flying, campfire games, bridge hunting, star spotting etc.

Rishikesh is the hub of adventure sports and Ayurveda. The place is full of ayurveda institutes and herbal spa centers. Trekking, river rafting etc can be also enjoyed here. Laxman Jhoola is another famous attraction here.
